Mikka Blank Winter Mix #1 for FM4 Liquid Radio

After a period of reflection, blankTON is back. And while things have been silent on the surface, new material has already been taking shape and is lurking in the shadows. The first step leads into a territory where blankTON feels most at home: in the late-night hours.

A new series of atmospheric, dubby and immersively enchanting, curated by Mikka Blank is now airing as part of Liquid Radio on Radio FM4 — a format long known for its deep listening sessions and carefully crafted sonic journeys, and still a harbour for contemplative electronic music besides the main roads, a place for textured low-end, restrained rhythms, far reaching echoes and atmospheric layers that move somewhere between dub, ambient and experimental electronica. Music for empty streets, long train rides, dim lights and wide-open thoughts.
